Adult Advanced Space Academy

Did you always want to be an astronaut but are too old for Space Camp®?

Adult Advanced Space Academy® is an adventurous, weeklong experience allowing trainees to assume roles in hands-on, interactive space missions and learn what it’s like to train like an astronaut

This weeklong program includes a SCUBA mission in the Underwater Astronaut Trainer1 and more!

Trainees also experience model rocket construction and launch (weather permitting), an extended duration mission, a robotics challenge, training on our astronaut simulators, including the 1/6th gravity chair, Multi-Axis Trainer and Centrifuge, plus hands-on spaceflight history education amid one of the world’s largest spaceflight collections.

Adult Advanced Space Academy is the ultimate experience for anyone who has dreamed of life in the cosmos or the excitement of a vital role in mission control.

Sessions for Adult Advanced Space Academy are limited, so reserve early. Meals and on-site lodging are included. On-site lodging is in our Habitat facilities with meals in the Space Camp Crew Galley.
