I would like to work on the scholarship application with a friend. Is that okay.

Each component in your scholarship application must be your own work. It is okay to work on the application with a friend but you may not duplicate each other’s content for any of the components. If you want to work on the science project together, for example, each person may conduct independent but related experiments or design challenges.

What if my child’s luggage is misplaced with the airline in route?

Upon discovering your child's luggage is misplaced with the airline, the Space Camp transportation team will take your child to the ticket desk and assist in locating the lost baggage. If a lost baggage report needs to be filed, our staff will assist the child in completing the form. The transportation team will notify you of the lost baggage and encourage you to coordinate with the airline to establish its whereabouts and deliver to Space Camp at 1 Tranquility Base Huntsville, Alabama, 35805.

What if my child’s flight changes information changes? Who should I notify?

My child is flying to Space Camp as an unaccompanied minor. What is the name of the person picking them up and what is the address of Space Camp?

Your child will be picked up at their flight's arrival gate by a member of our staff and Jason Markus.

Can I order items during the camp week?

Yes, Orders placed by 3 p.m. are delivered same day. We do not deliver on the last day of camp.

Can I order on the day we check in?

Yes. Items are available for purchase at check-in. Some items may be delayed in delivery until Monday due to large order volume or supply. We make every effort to deliver all items as quickly as possible.

If I order items before camp, how do I receive my items?

We deliver all preordered items to your camper while they are at camp. Items are also available for pick-up in the bottom of Habitat 1 on check-in day. Please note that all flight suits are handed out during team time the first night of camp. We take the worry out of ordering by making sure the flight suit fits your camper, and we’ll issue the correct size if it is different from the size ordered. Custom Mission Patches are chosen as a team activity on the first night of camp and are delivered to your camper. Snack packs ordered prior to camp are delivered the first night of camp.

What types of items are available for purchase prior to camp?

We offer a wide variety of items to make packing easier as well as Space Camp logo items to delight your camper. Items range from necessities like bug spray and sunscreen to t-shirt packs that provide all the t-shirts you will need for a full camp week. We also offer fun items like pillowcases that can be signed by your camper’s bunkmates, care packages to send a little love to camp, and snack packs containing all the snacks your camper needs for an active week.

What if I do not see my child in photos?

We make every effort to photograph all trainees. Keep in mind that logistics and program schedules can determine when you might see your child’s photos. Some trainees can be camera shy, too!
