The Dark Knight swoops into the USSRC
On Friday, July 18, at 12:01 a.m. in our IMAX® Theater, the USSRC hosted the exciting premiere of the feature-length film, The Dark Knight, Batman's newest crime-fighting adventure. As the caped crusader geared up to face his newest opponent, the Joker, ticket holders flooded the USSRC's IMAX lobby, which had been entirely transformed into the Bat Cave. All 243 seats in the IMAX Theater were sold out, and several USSRC employees even dressed up as Batman, the Joker, and Two Face to add to the excitement of the film's premiere.
Tickets for The Dark Knight are still available for $10/adults and $9/child on our
USSRC Web site. VIP tickets, which include special, top-tier
seating in the IMAX Theater, a $4.50 concession voucher, immediate seating in the IMAX VIP section, and a limited-edition souvenir ticket stub, are also available for $14.

Reunion Weekend concludes at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center
Reunion Weekend at the USSRC once again proved to be a memorable, fun-filled occasion for all who attended. Both the Fifth Annual Saturn/Apollo Reunion, presented by Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne on Friday, July 18, and the Second Annual Hall of Fame Dinner and Induction Ceremony, presented by ATK Launch Systems on Saturday, July 19, drew crowds of several hundred, allowing the USSRC to honor both original Saturn V team members and SPACE CAMP alumni. Old friends from years gone by were able to visit and reminisce about their shared experiences.
