SPACE CAMP® and Raytheon are hosting a one-day Tweetup on November 12, 2012. Registration for this event will begin on October 8, 2012 at noon CST and close October 15th at 5pm CST.
- A group of Twitter (social network) users who are planning to meet up for a specific reason or event. Tweeps selected to attend will get to experience the new MathAlive! exhibit, presented by Raytheon, at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, tour Space Camp and hear from guest speakers.
- If you choose to register, you are showing your intent to travel to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL, for this one-day event. You are responsible for your own expenses for travel, accommodations and other amenities. Some meals may be provided and will be listed in your confirmation packet.
- Yes, these events are for Twitter users, with open accounts, who follow @SpaceCampUSA and @Raytheon. The goal of these events is to connect with other individuals who interact on Twitter that share our interest in math, science, technology, and aviation as well as the education of the next generation. If you are not currently familiar with Twitter, we encourage you to familiarize yourself with Twitter and then apply for a future Tweetup event. The Twitter account for the Tweetup is @SpaceCampUSA and the hastags are #MathAlive and #SCTweetup. We will use both to post updates about the event.
- Yes! Each selected attendee will have the option to bring a guest with them who is at least 9 years of age or older. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the tweetup.
