SpaceWalk Naming Opportunity

SpaceWalk Naming Opportunity
The SpaceWalk is a covered walkway that will connect the new Davidson Center for Space Exploration with the existing museum. It will be a very visible and practical addition to the museum complex that will allow visitor traffic to flow during all types of weather. The SPACEWALK naming opportunity is $2M and may be paid over one or more years. According to the Alabama State Department of Transportation, 92,000 vehicles pass the U.S. Space & Rocket Center on I-565 each day; thus, the SpaceWalk will be perfectly positioned for very high visibility. Last year the center was host to over 500,000 visitors, 34,000 space camp attendees, and visitors from 57 countries. Because it is the official museum for both NASA and the Army, both organizations use the facility for entertaining, and they routinely bring in senior-level groups for tours. The USSRC is the official Visitor Information Center for the Marshall Space Flight Center. The plaza, located beneath the bridge, will be a stop on the Huntsville Tourist Bus Loop. The USSRC routinely attracts visitors from around the world, including international business leaders.
