Former Aviation Challenge Crew Trainer Jenie Purves, callsign "Texaco," passed away in February 2004 in Huntsville, Alabama. Jenie was a shining star among Crew Trainers and will be sorely missed by all. The employees of the US Space and Rocket Center have set up a scholarship fund in Jenies honor to allow a deserving child to attend Aviation Challenge. The base donation amount is $10.
