Mark James Potter Memorial Scholarship

Mark James Potter passed away unexpectedly in Dec. 2007 at the age of 17 in Vancouver, WA. He is deeply loved and missed. Mark had an avid interest in astronomy, flight, and rocketry. He enjoyed sharing the heavens with friends and family, from the rings of Saturn to the craters of the moon. He sought to understand the world around him. Mark was committed to the prevention of cruelty to animals. Mark attended Space Camp in 2001 at 12 years of age and had an awesome experience. The Mark James Potter Memorial Scholarship is set up by his family to allow a deserving young person to have a similar formational experience.
