
The momentous achievement of America's 50th Anniversary in Space was celebrated at the Grand Opening gala of the Davidson Center for Space Exploration on January 31, 2008. Guests and honorees from around the globe attended an elegant dinner catered by the U.S. Space & Rocket Center food staff, and enjoyed ceremonies inside the new home of the U.S. Space and Rocket Center's Saturn V rocket.
