Space Academy
Admit it. You've always wondered how it would feel to train like an astronaut.
SPACE ACADEMY for Adults is as close as you'll get. Put your skills, abilities and talents to the test in training simulators and simulated missions. Experience four G's of force when you blast off 140 feet on SPACE SHOT©. Feel what it's like to walk on the moon in the 1/6th Gravity Trainer, then experience a simulated tumble in space in the Multi-Axis Trainer. You'll also alternate roles in mission control and shuttle crew during two different Space Shuttle missions.
Witness space exploration almost firsthand in a giant-screen IMAX® Spacedome theater presentation. You will also spend time in our world class Space Museum containing America's largest collection of space artifacts.
SPACE ACADEMY for Adults is also available as a corporate development or educator incentive program.
Advanced Space Academy
Your week-long astronaut adventure includes SCUBA diving in our on-site Underwater Astronaut Trainer. For your Shuttle missions, choose your field of interest and pursue it in one of two tracks: Pilot or Mission Specialist. You will rotate through the orbiter, space station and mission control on training missions which lead up to an extended duration mission. You will also receive training in our high performance jet simulators and our 3G centrifuge.
