Please read all steps before beginning your application.
This application will take 45 to 60 minutes to complete and must be completed in a single session. Please have education, employer, and reference information available before you begin. This application process is long and detailed so that we can get to know you better and place you in the best position for both you and our camp participants. We appreciate your time spent in applying to work as a counselor with the U.S. Space & Rocket Center
Please complete the Online Application for Employment
Compile your application packet containing:
One copy of transcripts or degree
Three completed and sealed reference forms
One current photo (optional)
Your application packet should be mailed to:

*You will not be scheduled for an interview until both parts of the application have been recieved.
*We take applications on a rolling basis so please be sure to select the appropriate season for which you are applying.
Interview Process
Upon reciept of your online application and mailed packet you will be contacted for an interview only if you meet all requirements. We conduct in person and telephone interviews for those unable to make it to our facillity. If you are not able to do an in person interview you will be asked to complete a video/DVD answering the following five questions.
How do you think a friend or professor who knows you well would describe you?
Why do you want to work at Space Camp/Aviation Challege/X-Camp/the ropes course?
Why do you want to work with kids- and what make you uniquely qualified to do so?
What is the greatest challenge associated with working with children?
What motivates you to put forth your greatest effort? Describe a situation in which you did so.
To submit your video you may either, upload it for free toYouTube.com and email the link to therecruiter@spacecamp.com or include the video in your application packet.
