Aviation Challenge Mach III is for those 15-18 year olds who want to take their interest in aviation to another level. This program teaches you land and water survival, the principals of flight, and will allow you to engage in flight simulations &p competition!
Aviation Challenge Mach III isn't just about simulator training. It's also about teamwork, when you and your squadron mates work together to be top aviators. Participating in our program puts you one step closer to your dream of flying! Whether you're rushing 100 feet down the "Zipline" in a simulated parachute splash down, surviving a crash at sea on the "Helo-Dunker", or learning what it means to be a Navy Seal with everything on the line, can you maintain your cool and survive? All of this will get you ready for the ultimate competition, RED FLAG. This event combines flight, land and water survival, and escape and evasion tactics. Who will be the high-flying hero? It could be you!
Cost includes meals, lodging, materials and activities. This program also offers the opportunity for Boy Scouts to earn full credit for the Aviation and Wilderness Survival merit badges, as well as partial completion of the First Aid, Fire Safety and Orienteering merit badges.
