Honeywell Space Camp for Educators made a huge impact on my life both personally and professionally. My school year began with a renewed excitement and joy to be in the classroom. My students love the curriculum and are enjoying the units. More importantly my special needs children are grasping and understanding difficult topics. Everyone is loving the curriculum including the administration and the board of education. On a personal note facing the challenges of Space Camp gave me the confidence and extra added push I need to make a large change in my life. I had gastric bypass surgery in October. I am currently down 52 lbs and have renewed energy and vigor. I feel great! I can not tell you how much impact Space Camp made on my life. Thank you Summer & Suzi for being the best mentors and to Mare and the rest of team for organizing a wonderful opportunity.
