MISSISSIPPI DELTA REGIONAL MARKETING MEETING HOSTED BY THE AMERICAN ADVERTISING FEDERATION-MISSISSIPPI DELTA and the DELTA ARTS and LECTURE SERIES – Greenville Higher Education Center with the U. S. SPACE and ROCKET CENTER and SPACE CAMP (Huntsville, Alabama)

Who hasn’t heard of STAR WARS – the $69 billion brand of a 30-year movie and product phenomenon featuring the likes of Luke Skywalker, Yoda and Darth Vader?
But have you heard of the equally as popular U.S. Space and Rocket Center and Space Camp program in Huntsville. Alabama?
Well now’s your chance to learn more about all three of these popular programs through a free Delta-wide marketing session set for Wednesday, December 2 at the Greenville Higher Education Center.
Presentation times are:
10:00 a.m. - 12:00: Superintendents, principals, teachers, educators, school districts, PTA's, students, community organizations and other interested people.
1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m: Chambers of Commerce, Convention and Visitors Bureaus, city council and board of aldermen members, mayors, civic groups, churches, fraternal organizations and other interested individuals.
The American Advertising Federation (AAF)-Mississippi Delta has invited Holly Beach, vice president of marketing for the U.S. Space and Rocket Center and Space Camp program to come to Greenville and share marketing and networking opportunities with Delta people and organizations. She will also bring along their Director of Sales as well as Darth Vader and a STAR WARS Space Trooper for photo opportunities.
The AAF-Mississippi Delta invites representatives from Chambers of Commerce, Convention and Visitors Bureaus, school districts, individual schools, community groups and organization, churches, clubs, children’s programs, festivals and individuals like principals, superintendents, teachers, pastors, educators, parents and all others to come and hear Holly Beach’s presentation.
This session will be an opportunity for your organization to find out how you can partner with these organizations in your community, and as a way to get the word out about the opportunities available to people in your community with the U.S. Space and Rocket Center and Space Camp.
A special treat will be the presence of the STAR WARS: Where Science Meets IMAGINATION.
This international exhibit will land in Huntsville in June 2010 taking up nearly all of this amazing museum and center. Ms. Beach will also talk about this exhibit and its importance to your organization and community.

We hope people will come out and see what is available for Delta organizations through a professional organization like the U.S. Space and Rocket Center and Space Camp program,” said David Lush, president of AAF Mississippi Delta.
“We are thrilled to be coming to the Mississippi Delta to present a regional program. We believe it is important for Delta organizations to find out what we have to offer for students and communities,” said Holly Beach.
This session will be an opportunity for you and your organization to receive educational information on opportunities for young people in your communities to participate in these important educational programs and facilities. Also you’ll learn more about marketing opportunities to partner with the U.S. Space and Rocket Center and Space Camp.
