Adult Space Academy

A fun filled weekend program that features astronaut training on simulators such as our 1/6th Gravity Chair and Multi-Axis Trainer. Learn about manned space flight in one of the World’s largest Space History Museums. The focal point of the weekend is the multiple space shuttle missions in which would-be astronauts experience space flight in areas including mission control, the International Space Station, or on board one of our space shuttle simulators. If that’s not enough, we will introduce you to the world of a fighter pilot as you take part in activities at our Aviation Challenge complex.

Adult Advanced Space Academy

This 6-day experience will give you an extended look into the training of an astronaut. Choose between mission specialist and pilot tracks to determine the focal point of your training. After a number of training missions, take part in an extended duration mission lasting up to 6 hours. You will also have the
opportunity to experience our high performance jet-fighter simulators and SCUBA dive
in our underwater astronaut trainer. Learn the value of teamwork at our Area 51 Leadership reaction course. Detailed presentations will help you prepare for your final mission. There will also be opportunities to gain insight into the reality of the space program from our guest speakers

8-DAY ADVANCED ACADEMY

This program is our most comprehensive astronaut training experience. In addition
to many of the activities included in the 6-day program, you will experience a 24-hour Long Duration Mission – a highlight for any avid space enthusiast. It is recommended that those who attend this program have either previously attended one of our other programs or have a basic knowledge of spaceflight and space hardware.
