Application Process

Please read all steps before beginning your application.

The online application will take 35 to 45 minutes to complete. You may log back into your account at any time and update your app. Please have education, employer, and reference information available before you begin. This application process is detailed so that we can get to know you better and place you in the best position for both you and our camp participants. We appreciate your time spent in applying to work as a Crew Trainer with the U.S. Space & Rocket Center.

1. Please complete the Online Application for Employment

2. Gather and scan in/attach to your application:

   • One copy of transcripts or degree
   • Three completed reference forms
   • One current photo (optional)

*You will not be scheduled for an interview until your application is complete; containing both transcripts and reference letters.

*We take applications on a rolling basis so please be sure to select the appropriate season for which you are applying.

Interview Process

Upon receipt of your complete online application you will be contacted for an interview only if you meet all requirements. We conduct in person, Skype, and telephone interviews for those unable to make it to our facility. If you are not able to do an in person or Skype interview, you will be asked to complete a video/DVD answering the following four questions.

1. How do you think a friend or professor who knows you well would describe you?

2. Why do you want to work at Space Camp?

3. Why do you want to work with kids- and what make you uniquely qualified to do so?

4. What is the greatest challenge associated with working with children?
